She also volunteers her time and knowledge to help out at local sports events including triathlons, bike races and marathons. Her personal story is being sick and finding the root of the illness instead of just taking medicine. She wanted to help other people get answers, instead of leaving them stuck searching for help.

Angel Rivera, Massage Therapist
Since 2007, when Angel Rivera became a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in North Carolina his mission is to offer a relaxing and therapeutic massage, to help your muscles to relax and to release tension, and to facilitate any healing that your body may want to do once it is in a relaxed state. As he says, "My intention is that after a massage session, you will feel great!"
Dina Jirjis, Massage Therapist
My name is Dina Jirjis and I have been a massage therapist since 2007. Initially I went to UNC Greensboro for Exercise and Sport Science focusing in Pre-Physical Therapy and Fitness Leadership. It wasn’t until several years later that I pursued massage therapy. Combining the knowledge I attained in both instances, I found myself looking for a career that would be a perfect fit. I researched many different healthcare facilities as well as modalities and approaches, which led me to believe that healing should stem from the inside out. This is why I am a massage therapist.
Massage therapy is applied in many forms for various outcomes. For example it is used for relaxation, rehabilitation, stimulating circulation, and so on. I have centered the scope of my practice on rehabilitation through deep tissue techniques, joint mobilization and range of motion movements, trigger point therapy, and ART (Active Release Technique). All of which stimulate the healing process in the body.
I also am certified in pregnancy massage and sports massage, have worked in active/passive rehab in both physical therapy and chiropractic environments. I look forward to the challenges that this profession brings, both with education and application.
“Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Appreciate your friends. Continue to learn. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.” ― Mary Anne Radmacher
